It was a nice, quiet celebration - just as mom would have wanted it; and she would have loved to see the entire family together again. She was a beautiful but flawed woman, and she made many mistakes in life; but one of her most prevailing qualities was her selflessness - she often sacrificed so much in the way of her time, energy, money and love for the betterment of her family and friends. She was also a very funny lady, and she loved to laugh. While she may not have been the most religious of people, I know in my heart that she believed in God and Jesus Christ - and that if you also believe - you know that she is reunited with her mother, my grandma Lee, and her two brothers, my uncle Ed and Jerry, and her son, my brother Jerry, all of whom she loved very much. Rest in peace mom. We loved you tender, we loved you sweet, and you will always be on our minds.
- Love Scott
